Just got a pair of Agloves as a gift and they’re totally amazing!  They have silver fiber woven into the fabric so that they work with touchscreens.  No more fingerless gloves!  Now my little fingertips stay nice and cozy AND I can comfortably maintain my constant connection to the internet— even in the cold :)

The Unprintable WWF Document Format

This is actually pretty fascinating… being able to keep some control over how your digital documents are used, long after it seems it’s entirely in the recipient’s hands…

“The World Wildlife Federation has launched a new file format similar to the popular Portable Document Format (PDF), except for one interesting catch: the file cannot be printed.

The WWF file format was created as a gesture of defiance against unnecessary usage of paper in a variety of settings, most notably the office workplace and the university. It is currently available only for the Mac, but a Windows version is coming soon.

I want to know who these people are that are getting 7.5 hours of sleep per night!  Clearly they aren’t spending enough time on the Internet…

Meet the Big Brother Screening Your Social Media for Employers

Kind of terrifying— there are now companies that conduct social media background checks for employers, reporting any user-generated “objectionable behavior” and sending over screenshots of activity that can be called “poor judgement.” 

“I personally think we’re moving away from the one-page résumé,” explains CEO Max Drucker. “I think we’re moving toward where your online history is your résumé.”

So basically, in a few years there will be no one under the age of 65 who is still employable…
